There is a rhythm of my Spirit.

You need to follow His timing, pace, and movement. When my Spirit moves, that is the moment that I will work in your life. The rhythm of the Holy Spirit causes you to be in the right place at the right time. So many long for what only I can do in their lives.

They struggle and pursue dreams outside the rhythm of my Spirit, and when they become discouraged, they think I have not answered them or helped them. Yet it is because people live outside the rhythm of the Spirit that these things occur.

So you must LEARN His rhythm!

It means learning to walk with the Spirit, stay in step with the Spirit, become obedient to the Spirit, and follow His lead in every area of your life.

The Holy Spirit is your conductor. He will watch over the individual notes of your life and set the tempo. He raises His hands, and the crescendos build. He brings the music of your soul down to volume levels that are soft and quiet, barely audible at times. But even in the quietness, the Lord is building you! I am working my melody into your soul.

When you are out of step with my Spirit, the song of your life does not sound correct. It is off. The timing, harmony, and synchronization are out of alignment.

For your life to sound right, it has to be realigned with my Holy Spirit, and you must step into His rhythm instead of pursuing your own.

Many do not realize what they are doing as they leave alignment with my Spirit. It is destruction to their lives! The joy of my presence comes from walking in humility with me and allowing my Spirit to rule every area.

His rhythm becomes the heartbeat of your soul, and what would normally feel difficult is made easy, not because the circumstance has lifted, but because I am there in the midst of it with you.

When you submit your life to me, I will not allow the disruptions to overtake you, nor will I allow the enemy space in the melody I am writing in your life.

Lean into the rhythm of my Spirit.

Begin to change your heart and mind toward obedience. Begin to say, “It seems good to the Holy Spirit and to us.” Let Him lead you and guide your choices. Let his rhythm guide the emotions of your heart. What you will find is joy and a release of the toxins that build up in your spirit.

My Spirit is a friend! He will never leave you. And it is my joy to fill you and overflow you with my goodness as you allow the Spirit of the Lord to control the rhythm of your life.

Pray this with me:

Father, I desperately want to follow you! Help me to understand what you are trying to say in my heart. Please give me the clarity I need to walk in complete obedience to your will. I do not want to be out of step with you, nor do I want to misrepresent you in my life. Let my soul become saturated with your presence and joy as I lean into the plan of God for my life. I need you and your presence to fill me up. You are my greatest desire. Your presence and your voice are the treasures I seek. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
